About this role

Responsibilities:

- Technical leadership over the Power Electronics & EMI/EMC sub-department within Pulsed Power Engineering

- Functional management over individuals within the Power Electronics & EMI/EMC sub-department within Pulsed Power Engineering

- Development of a technology roadmap for power electronics at Xcimer. Including high-voltage power supplies, DC-DC converters, and EMI/EMC compliant PCB design.

- Development of standards, specifications, requirements and best-practices for power electronics and EMI/EMC for Xcimer.

Qualifications:

- Education: M.S.E.E. or greater

- Experience: >10 years

- Project management, functional management, experience with EMI/EMC specifications/standards/design, expert knowledge of power supply design, PCB layout and EMI/EMC compliant design.

- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee of granted asylum

Desired:

- LTSPice or similar circuit modeling software

- Experience with electromagnetic modelling via Ansys, COMSOL, CST, or equivalent software

- Knowledge of electromagnetic fields, as well as their associated interactions and diagnostics

- Python or MatLAB programming skills

- Experience with project management software such as Jira, Microsoft Projects, etc…

- Experience interpreting and implementing EMI/EMC commercial or military standards (e.g. IEC 61000-4, MIL-STD-461 etc…)

Candidates may be considered for other positions at Xcimer Energy, and our actual base salary will be determined on an individual basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. The range is published in accordance with Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and California Equal Pay Act.
