About this role

Job Duties:

- Act as the single point of contact for all IT facility support

- Provide remedial support to resolve all problems and support issues arising from the usage of computer facilities

- Carry out operational support tasks on day-to-day administration, operation, and management of computer facilities

- Perform assigned tasks in setting up and/or configuring computer facilities for specific purposes, including assisting users in accepting newly acquired hardware, software, and/or implementation services

- Compile reports when required by the school, including inventory reports for Software Asset Management

- Support WebSAMS system operations (including WebSAMS server, HTTP, database, firewall, and system backup)

- Ensure server backups are functioning properly and backup files can be read normally

- Provide technical support on general matters relating to the operation of IT facilities, including general usage of installed hardware and software

- Support teachers in classroom teaching

- Manage Wi-Fi wireless network operations

- Manage tablet devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems

- Assist in procurement of software and hardware, including quotations and disposal procedures

- Provide professional advice on IT equipment purchases and development

- Assist in school events and promotional activities, including photography and video recording

- Assist in video editing and production

Technical Requirements:

- Holder of MCP certificate or equivalent qualifications

- Detailed knowledge of network operating systems, equipment, software, and other hardware and software

- Familiar with Windows Server, Linux Server, MySQL management, and Networking

- Detailed knowledge of communication protocols, e.g., TCP/IP

- Practical experience in supporting and managing web servers

- Competent in diagnosing and resolving problems

- Capable of setting guidelines and procedures for daily operations of installed WAN/LAN

- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English, fluent in Cantonese

- Must pass Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC)

Working Hours:

- At least 45 hours per week (flexible adjustment according to school needs with prior notice)

- Default schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (1-hour lunch break); Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (no lunch break)

- Overtime: compensated as time-off in lieu

- Holidays: statutory holidays only
