Hiney's Londis Crossmolina seek a Full Time Sales Assistants for the Shop Floor .
MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To operate within the store departments efficiently, effectively and hygienically to ensure customer satisfaction with the highest standards of service and products at all times.
Training will be provided.
Duties include:
- Good customer care skills
- Knowledge of operating a till
- Ordering stock
- Accepting deliveries and reporting any shortages
- Arranging and rotating stock on the shop floor and stock room.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Updating Shelf edged labels
- Stocking merchandise and creating displays
- Clean shelves and counters and making sure shop and store is tidy and free from clutter at all times.
- Operate computerised till system and barcode scanner, lotto machine, and other services offered to the customers
- Assist customers in bagging purchases
- Be vigilant at all times to prevent loss of stock and waste
- Be flexible
- Be able to communicate and interact with customers in a friendly and polite manner
