Deli Assistant - Part Time

We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Deli Assistant at LONDIS Cleveragh Road Co Sligo . As a Deli Assistant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli section.

- Provide excellent customer service and deal with customer queries in a professional and friendly manner
- Prepare, cook, and present deli products in line with company standards
- Ensure food safety, HACCP, and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the deli department
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and stock rotation
- Replenish stock and ensure displays are fully stocked and visually appealing
- Work efficiently as part of a team to achieve departmental goals
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries in accordance with company procedures
- Follow all health and safety guidelines

Requirements

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a positive, self-motivated attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative
- Previous deli experience is required
- Good knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety procedures is required
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional weekdays, for approximately 20 hours per week
