About the Role

This position is reporting the senior manager of financial costing controls by of two main pillars;

- Develop and execute a KPI reporting system capturing all the significant factors of Global Costing area within Harman.

- Ensure proper automation level within the area in order to improve overall efficiency both within the costing function and the supporting functions as well on a global level

Job requires close interaction with Operations (Mfg., Procurement, SCM), regional and global Finance team members (Operations finance, SBU finance, Strategic Planning & Performance / SP&P, and Commercial finance).

What You Will Do

· Work out and operate an internal reporting system including all the significant KPIs representing truly the processes of the costing area globally

· Provide trainings globally within finance and the related (contributing) functions

· Improve and rationalize the costing processes by eliminating any potential unnecessary working steps or rationalize the current ones

· Explore process automation potentials, align on those ones with the senior manager for costing

· Execute automation projects technically, coordinating the relevant stakeholders as required

· Collaborating with all product costing associates globally,

· Eliminate any ad-hoc costing related issues on a global level.

What You Need to Be Successful

- A thorough understanding of automotive development processes (PLM processes)
- 1-3 years of experience in Project Controlling, Project/Program Management, Cost Management, Business Partnering
- Bachelor´s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- Strong Background in ERP systems and project methodologies systems (SAP) and financial planning tools
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel proficiency
- Fluency in English required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Capability to influence cross-functional team members
