- Conducting regular site inspections and maintaining a visible EHS presence in the field.
- Coordinating common safety arrangements, shared work areas and interfaces between contractors.
- Identifying and addressing risks arising from overlapping construction, CQV, commissioning, maintenance and operational activities.
- Following up on significant safety observations, incidents, near misses and corrective actions affecting multiple contractors or the wider project.
- Supporting coordination of high-risk activities, including work at height, scaffolding, electrical work and LOTO, excavation, lifting, chemical handling and temporary installations.
- Acting as a key project contact for the Danish Working Environment Authority, including inspections, meetings and follow-up.
- Supporting the development and communication of project EHS standards, instructions, lessons learned and safety initiatives.
- Working closely with client EHS, construction management, CQV leadership and contractor HSE teams to strengthen safety across the project.
Qualifications and experience
We expect that you have:
- The required Danish AMK-B qualifications for coordination on large construction projects.
- Significant practical experience from large and complex construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of Danish occupational health and safety legislation and the client’s responsibilities.
- Proven experience coordinating multiple contractors and managing complex work interfaces.
- A strong understanding of high-risk construction activities and associated safety measures.
- Experience working with the Danish Working Environment Authority.
- The ability to work independently and confidently represent the client on EHS matters.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to communicate with site personnel, contractors and senior management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Danish and English.
Experience from pharmaceutical, biotech, process or other complex industrial projects will be an advantage. Experience with commissioning, CQV and the transition from construction to operations is also highly relevant.
