Position Summary

The Bartender thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and delivers exceptional service to guests looking to relax and warm up after a day on the slopes. This role requires strong multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes

- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner

- Maintain knowledge of seasonal cocktails, local craft beers, and wine selections

- Process payments accurately using POS systems

- Check identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area

- Restock supplies, glassware, and garnishes as needed

- Assist with opening and closing duties

- Work collaboratively with Mountain Room Crew, Cooks, and Mountain Leadership

- Handle high-volume service during peak ski hours and special events

- Accurately record all hours worked, ensure time entries are complete, and promptly resolve any discrepancies prior to the end of each pay period

- Complete required training as assigned by mountain leadership

- Other duties as assigned by mountain leadership

Qualifications

Qualifications

- Must be 18 years or older

- Previous bartending experience preferred

- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine

- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Maintain unexpired TIPS certification

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-energy environment

- Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays

- Must be eligible to work in the United States

- Successful completion of background check

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time

- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks

- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Compensation & Benefits

- Compensation: $17.50/hour

- Benefits: Complimentary ski/ride access for the duration of employment and employee discounts on food and beverages at participating locations (subject to mountain policy)
