POSITION SUMMARY:

The Janitorial Team Member will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of designated areas.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

- Perform general clean-up of all areas of the facility as directed

- Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lot

- Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders / maintenance requests

- Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up

- Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests

- Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped for daily usage and scheduled events

- Assure all public use areas including restrooms, walkways, corridors, etc. are clean and up to standards prior to, during, and after each event

- Additional tasks assigned by management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- 2+ years janitorial experience preferred

- Willingness to work a variety of shifts

- Ability to work well under minimal supervision and as a team

- Capacity to take direction

- Strong attention to detail

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, a combination of days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays

- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend

- Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds

- Ability to navigate around the facility for long periods of time

- Ability to climb elevated areas to complete tasks (i.e. ladders, lift for scoreboards, etc.)

- Must wear proper uniform

- Facility has intermittent noise
