Floor Care Tech - FT (Ephrata Manor)

Ephrata Manor is accepting applications for a Full-Time Floor Care Technician to work the 7:00am - 3:00pm shift (Monday through Friday).

Responsibilities include:

- Buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors ensuring that appropriate caution/safety policies are used;

- Moving and removing furniture, furnishing, equipment, and other objects as required;

- Ensuring equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of each shift;

- Clean assigned work areas and perform isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with infection control protocols;

- Coordinate floor cleaning services with nursing services when performing cleaning in resident areas;

- Assist housekeeping and maintenance departments as needed to meet residents' needs;

- Comply with proper techniques when mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and solutions used for cleaning, referring to manufacturer's instructions; and,

- Follow UCC Homes' code of conduct, corporate compliance, resident care, and other policies.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in floor care maintenance preferred;

- Ability to push, pull, or move more than 80 lbs a distance of 300 feet;

- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs to a minimum height of 3 feet and a distance of 25 feet;

- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
