Personal Care Home Administrator/PCHA FT (The Lebanon Valley Home)

The Lebanon Valley Home (Annville, PA) is currently seeking a Personal Care Home Administrator (PCHA) for its 40-bed personal care facility.

Responsibilities include:

- Direct all personal care home programs consistent with current federal and state regulations and professional standards, providing hands-on assistance as needed;

- Assure programmatic relevance to resident ability levels;

- Develop, implement, and maintain ongoing quality assessment and assurance programs for personal care department;

- Evaluate and report on resident grievances and unresolved concerns;

- Assist with the development and monitoring of the personal care budget;

- Direct the day-to-day functions of employees in personal care department, ensuring their compliance with established policies and regulations;

- Prepare and submit requests for benevolent assistance for personal care residents;

- Maintain visibility within the facility for residents and staff;

- Maintain relationships with families, residents, staff, physicians, licensing agency personnel, and the community;

- Lead DHS surveys; review and develop plans of correction;

- Coordinate the admission, discharge, and transfer processes;

- Develop and maintain waiting lists for the community;

- Ensure adequate levels of medications and medical supplies are maintained; and,

- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positivity throughout the community.

Requirements:

- Must be a PA Personal Care Home Administrator in good standing with the Department of Human Services

- Must be a PA licensed RN or LPN

- Must have at least one year of PCHA experience in a personal care setting

- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public

- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability

- Must possess basic computer skills
