Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This is a hybrid Front Desk/Night Audit position consisting of two (2) Night Audit shifts and two (2) PM Front Desk shifts per week, for a total of 32 hours per week. Team members must be able to perform the duties of both roles and work independently during overnight operations.

- Provides exceptional guest service and ensures all guest inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly.
- Registers and processes guests upon arrival and departure.
- Demonstrates telephone courtesy and professionalism.
- Attentively listens to guests and anticipates additional needs or concerns.
- Maintains a clean and professional appearance of public areas and the hotel office.
- Uses appropriate selling techniques to maximize revenue and occupancy.
- Completes daily management and operational reports.
- Ensures all guest accounts are complete and accurate.
- Performs Night Audit procedures, including balancing daily transactions, reconciling accounts, posting charges, and preparing required reports.
- Ensures accurate and timely completion of all end-of-day and overnight financial processes.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel and local area.
- Complies with the hotel's standard operating procedures and policies.
- Assists in monitoring and upholding procedures for the safety and security of guests, hotel property, and team members during all shifts.
- Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency.
- Delivers amenities and general assistance to guests as requested.
- Maintains accurate records and communicates important guest, operational, and maintenance information between shifts.
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both PM and overnight shifts, including independently during Night Audit operations.
- Basic math, accounting, and computer skills required.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism.
- Conducts work-related functions in a professional manner.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
- Prior front desk or hotel experience preferred; Night Audit experience is a plus.
