Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, reducing waste, enhancing product quality, and supporting plant-wide operational improvements. The Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to drive productivity gains and implement sustainable manufacturing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead process improvement projects.
- Conduct time studies and labor analysis.
- Develop work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform root cause analysis.
- Support new product introductions.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
Essential Skills
- Manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Proficiency in Process Improvement and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience with PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis).
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
- Ability to conduct time studies and labor analysis.
- Strong root cause analysis skills.
- Experience in fabrication, metalworking, assembly, or industrial manufacturing.
- ERP/MRP systems experience.
- CAD software proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Work Environment
This role provides the opportunity to make a visible impact in a manufacturing facility undergoing operational improvements. There is strong exposure to continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and plant-wide optimization projects. You will have broad cross-functional interaction with operations, quality, maintenance, and engineering leadership. The position offers growth opportunities within a large HVAC manufacturing organization and involves a hands-on engineering role with significant influence on productivity, quality, safety, and cost reduction.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ponca City, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $88000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. -------------------------------------------------------------------------
