About this role

We are seeking an experienced  Commercial Hot-Side Equipment Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial restaurant and food-service equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with commercial cooking equipment, strong electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide professional, courteous service in a customer-facing environment.

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial restaurant equipment.

- Service commercial ovens, fryers, ranges, and other hot-side cooking equipment.

- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using electrical schematics and technical documentation.

- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

- Inspect equipment, identify potential problems, and recommend appropriate repairs.

- Complete service calls in a timely and professional manner.

- Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment issues, repairs, and recommendations.

- Maintain a clean, professional appearance while representing the company at customer locations.

- Accurately document service calls, repairs, parts used, and equipment conditions.

- Operate company vehicles safely and maintain a clean driving record.

- Respond to occasional after-hours and on-call service needs.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED preferred.

- 3–5+ years of experience repairing commercial food-service equipment, preferably hot-side equipment.

- Experience working with commercial ovens, fryers, ranges, and other cooking equipment.

- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.

- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Professional customer-service etiquette and a presentable appearance.

- Intermediate computer skills.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Legally authorized to work in the United States.

- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

- Experience with microwaves and small kitchen equipment such as slicers, blenders, and mixers is a plus.
