About this role

Essential

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Offshore HSE or 10 Years’ Experience in Onshore
HSE related field outside of drilling industry
• Must possess strong analytical skills and be able to confidently communicate
• Team player and must aim to continually monitor and promote all core HSE
processes to Offshore Crews and Onshore Rig Management
• Qualified and proficient in incident investigation and root cause identification
processes
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel…. etc.)
• Effectively communicate message in either written or verbal form
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Maintain currency and SME knowledge of industry initiatives impacting Seadrill
operations (e.g., IADC, DROPS, HPOG…)
• Knowledge and understanding of applicable HSE regulatory requirements
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of applicable Client requirements
and/or bridging documents
• Familiarity with Flag and Coastal State requirements and applicable international
regulations (ex. ISM, IMO…etc.).
Governance and career progression:
• Minimum of 36 months in position of Offshore HSE Advisor, and 5 years in an HSE
role
• Holds a NEBOSH International General Certificate in OH&S or equivalent HSE
certification
• Participation on audit team with Company Auditor on HSE Compliance Audit,
competence verified by Company Audit Team member

Minimum Requirements
• BOSIET
NEBOSH International General Certificate in OH&S or equivalent HSE certification

Preferred
• Higher education qualification in HSE/Engineering or Risk Management discipline
