About this role
The Finance Functional Excellence Manager is the primary interface between Finance and ISIT for Seadrill's finance systems. The principal focus of the role is Oracle Fusion Finance and Oracle EPM. It also provides functional support for the other applications used across the Finance function, which is expected to be a limited part of the role.
The purpose of the role is to understand the requirements of the business and translate them into clear, prioritized deliverables for ISIT, and undertake agreed hands-on functional administration and configuration activities directly within the Finance systems. Solution architecture, technical design and build remain with ISIT and its delivery partners; this role owns the business requirement, the functional outcome, and adoption across Finance.
This is an individual-contributor role. Its core accountabilities are process optimization, functional system administration and governance, support of the period-end close, adoption of capabilities to maximize business value, and support of the control and reporting environment.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Oracle or other finance systems certifications, or a professional accounting qualification, are considered advantageous.
