Roberts Motors is looking for a B-Level Service Technician to join its service department. This role covers the core diagnostic and repair work that keeps the shop running; engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and AC, with a 2+ year background and Ford certification as the baseline. What You'll Do
- Perform all repair work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment
- Communicate findings and additional service needs directly to the Service Advisor, with accurate time estimates for any additional repairs needed
- Execute warranty repairs in full compliance with manufacturer specifications and documentation requirements
What We're Looking For
- Ford certification preferred
- 2+ years of service technician experience preferred
- B-level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
- Previous Ford dealership experience preferred
- Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity required for precision repair work
- Basic computer competency and ability to learn new repair procedures and specifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
