Hill International is seeking a Director, Information Technology Solutions to support the Hill Advisory group within the United States.
Hill Advisory helps capital program owners leverage technology to improve program delivery. Our technology services practice specializes in AI-enabled project controls, data governance, BIM and digital twin strategies, PMIS strategy and implementation, geospatial intelligence, and cyber-physical security. We support owners managing complex capital programs across the utilities, energy, aviation, transportation, healthcare, and education sectors.
- 15+ years of experience in technology delivery and capital programs, including 5+ years in a client-facing consulting, advisory, or owner's representative role.
- Strong knowledge of PMIS platforms, project controls, data governance, and capital program technology ecosystems.
- Demonstrated commercial construction of technical scope including experience developing cost models, setting pricing strategies, and negotiating commercial terms with clients.
- Independent advisory judgment, including recommending against technology investments when warranted by the analysis.
- Ability to translate complex technical decisions into business impacts related to cost, schedule, risk, and operations.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes within a matrixed organization.
- Track record of originating, shaping, and closing new business opportunities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel 30% to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience leading technology due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, or strategic investments.
- Industry expertise within at least one of Hill's key sectors, including utilities, aviation, transportation/transit, healthcare, energy, or large-scale infrastructure programs.
- Experience advising executive leadership on technology strategy and investment decisions.
- Relevant professional certifications.
