About the role
Are you an experienced Account Manager, or a Territory Manager ready to take the next step in your sales career?
We're excited to offer a newly created opportunity for an Account Manager – Custom & Glazing to join our team. In this role, you'll manage some of our most valued customer relationships across the custom extrusion and glazing market.
As a key member of our sales team, you'll be at the forefront of our go-to-market strategy, partnering with glazing fabricators, custom die owners and raw material customers. You'll identify growth opportunities, provide technical and commercial solutions, and strengthen long-term customer partnerships that deliver sustainable business success.
What you’ll be doing
- Champion health and safety as the number one priority
- Build deep, trusted relationships with key accounts in the custom and glazing market
- Identify, develop and convert business opportunities, including custom extrusion projects
- Shape and manage a strong project and opportunity pipeline using CRM and tracking tools
- Partner with customers to understand specifications, technical requirements and emerging trends
- Work closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, supply chain and product development
- Represent the business at trade shows, customer events and industry forums
- Drive pricing, margin and commercial performance aligned to business targets
- Maintain accurate reporting, forecasting and account plans
About you
- Proven experience in account management within the construction, building materials, glazing or fabrication environments
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation and influencing capability
- Commercial acumen with a strategic, growth-focused and solutions mindset
- A technical aptitude and ability to understand specifications and manufacturing processes (highly regarded)
- Excellent organisation, planning and time management skills
- Confidence working autonomously while collaborating as part of a wider team
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- A valid NZ Driver’s Licence and travel is a requirement of this role.
