JOB SUMMARY
- The attendant is responsible for assisting the OR team with equipment and supplies necessary to perform surgical procedures. They are the first responder to equipment needs; and are able to trouble shoot equipment. Attendants function under the direction; instruction; and supervision of the OR supervisor. Attendants have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities; surveys; improvement initiatives; and continuing education.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Education High School or equivalent
- Minimum Work Experience No previous experience
- Required Licenses/Certifications BCLS Certification within 30 days of hire
- Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities Maintains professional appearance at all times.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
