Description
The Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician is responsible for checking in new vehicles as they arrive at the dealership and completing required pre-delivery inspections to ensure each vehicle is properly prepared and ready for the lot.
This position requires strong attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Because much of the work involves vehicles outdoors, the PDI Technician must also be comfortable working in both hot and cold weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Check in new vehicles as they arrive at the dealership
- Complete pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles
- Ensure vehicles are properly prepared and ready to be placed on the lot
- Identify and report any issues found during the inspection process
- Safely move and park vehicles as needed
- Follow dealership procedures and safety standards
- Maintain an organized and efficient work area
Qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted drivers license
- Clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work outdoors in both hot and cold weather conditions
- Ability to safely operate and move vehicles
