JOB SUMMARY:
The Paramedic responds to emergency calls to provide efficient a care to the ill and injured.
JOB DUTIES:
50% Emergency Response: Perform Emergency Services response operations duties as a Paramedic and in support of Fire, hazardous material & rescue technicians; Develop and maintain cognitive knowledge and psychomotor skills proficiency through application, professional development, knowledge of department Standard Operating Guidelines & applicable regulations, training and physical fitness.
35% Administrative: Maintains compliance with required Programs. Maintains Paramedic certification and medical control sponsorship as required
15% Supervisory: Implements working knowledge of NIMS-ICS as a resource leader or team member; May serve as Initial Incident Commander until relieved as required. May supervise subordinate medical personnel
