Child Saving Institute (CSI) is looking for someone who has a mind full of wonder and a heart-filled desire to make a difference. Were on a mission to champion whats best for each child and family.

As a Learning Center Paraeducator , youll be an essential part of our educational team. Your responsibilities include supporting classroom instruction, assisting students individually and in small groups, and reinforcing learning concepts to help students succeed academically and socially. In short, our Paraeducator helps create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

Qualifications

Ideally, you:

- Are willing to participate in professional development and in-service trainings

- Possess the physical ability, stamina, and manual dexterity required for a full day of varied activities

Bonus Points

- Experience working with children in educational or behavioral support settings

- Interest in picking up substitute shifts in residential or shelter programs on non-school days

Additional Details

- This position begins with designated workdays prior to the start of the school year and runs through the end of the school year, per the school calendar

- Paraeducators may have the opportunity to work additional substitute shifts in residential or shelter programs on non-school days, as needed

- Any additional shifts resulting in overtime must be approved by the Director of Residential Services
