Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Role Overview

PrideStaff Atlanta South is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Transportation Supervisor for a fast-growing logistics company in College Park, GA.

This position is responsible for coordinating daily transportation and warehouse activities to ensure shipments are prepared accurately, drivers are dispatched efficiently, and customer deliveries are completed safely and on schedule. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment, and able to effectively lead warehouse employees while coordinating with drivers and office personnel.

## Key Responsibilities
Transportation Coordination: Coordinate daily inbound and outbound transportation activities, including driver schedules, pickups, deliveries, and shipment priorities. Shipping & Receiving: Oversee the preparation, staging, loading, and unloading of shipments to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery. Driver Coordination: Communicate with drivers regarding routes, delivery schedules, shipment status, delays, and operational changes. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and provide daily direction to warehouse employees while maintaining productivity and accountability. Dispatch Support: Assist with dispatching drivers and adjusting schedules as necessary to accommodate customer needs and operational changes. Inventory & Shipment Tracking: Monitor inventory movement and shipment documentation to ensure products are accurately received, staged, and shipped. Excel & Reporting: Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain transportation logs, shipment records, productivity reports, KPIs, and other operational data. Quality Control: Verify orders, shipping documentation, labeling, and product quantities before shipments leave the facility. Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve transportation delays, loading issues, inventory discrepancies, and other logistical bottlenecks. Safety & Compliance: Ensure warehouse and transportation activities follow company safety procedures and established operational standards. Communication: Maintain effective communication between drivers, warehouse employees, office staff, customers, and management. Hands-On Support: Assist with warehouse operations, loading, unloading, and other duties when necessary to keep daily operations running efficiently.

## Position Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, distribution, or warehouse operations . Previous supervisory or team-lead experience strongly preferred. Experience coordinating drivers, deliveries, shipping, receiving, or dispatch operations . Proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including data entry, basic formulas, spreadsheet management, and reporting. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills. Ability to identify problems quickly and make sound operational decisions. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an active warehouse environment. Proven record of reliable attendance and dependability . Must be willing to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen .

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who understands that transportation and warehouse operations must work together. This person should be comfortable coordinating drivers, managing changing priorities, communicating with multiple departments, and stepping onto the warehouse floor when needed to ensure shipments leave accurately and on time.
