About this role

POSITION OVERVIEW

This unionized position works with various types of metal and uses a variety of welding techniques to fabricate coach components and frames.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

- Fabricates metal coach components and frames using MIG, TIG and STICK welding techniques and strict quality guidelines.

- Grind and solder coach components.

- Interpret welding process specs, blueprints, drawings and work instructions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

- 2+ years of demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing or automotive environment is preferred.

- Previous experience in an automotive setting, particularly an auto body background with MIG and TIG welding experience, is preferred.

- Experience working with solvents and pre-treatment chemicals.

- Experience operating air plasma and oxy acetylene equipment is required
