About this role
The Operations Supervisor II at National Oilwell Varco, L.P. is accountable for the overall performance of the assigned inspection facility. Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, the supervisor directs production, quality, safety, budget, and personnel activities, serves as acting Operations Manager when needed, and drives continuous improvement while maintaining strong communication with customers and stakeholders.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in oilfield services or comparable industrial operations.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and industry safety standards.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and perform financial analysis.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous‑improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis, KPI tracking, and reporting tools.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/CMMS systems.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel between sites as required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
