Experience in the diesel mechanic, power generation field or similar mechanical experience to identify potential mechanical issues. Willingness to learn NOV policies, procedures, and equipment operations. Maintain a satisfactory driving record to ensure timely travel to job sites. Ability to safely perform general labor tasks within NOV safety guidelines. Successfully pass Pre-Employment Background Check, Physical, Audiogram, Vision Screen, Pulmonary Function/FIT Test, and Substance Abuse Testing. Willingness to undergo random and periodic Substance Abuse Testing. Ability to safely operate heavy equipment (forklifts, overhead cranes) as required.

Technician has the ability and knowledge to perform repairs such as replacing engine heads, engine seals, various engine accessory components and can make engine overhead adjustments. Repairs, adjusts and replaces major assemblies or sub-assemblies such as generator ends, radiators, fuel system components and exhaust system items.
Performs operational inspection and ensures equipment is properly serviced prior to renting. Responsible for conducting repairs, services and maintenance on all other types of equipment to include: Light Towers, Fuel Tanks, Transfer switches, distribution racks etc.
