Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will enforce best coding practices and champion continuous improvement. Your role includes developing tools and templates to enhance processes and scaling our platform to handle 1,000 times the current load while maintaining 100% uptime.
Responsibilities
- Enforce best coding practices and advocate for continuous improvement.
- Develop tools and templates for process improvements.
- Scale the platform to handle 1,000 times the current load while maintaining 100% uptime.
Essential Skills
- At least 7 years of full software development lifecycle (SDLC) experience.
- Mastery of SDLC, SOLID principles, TDD/BDD, and clean code/architecture.
- 5-8+ years of experience with modern technologies like GoLang, GraphQL, gRPC, JavaScript, microservices, and NoSQL.
- 5-8+ years of applying cloud development patterns and best practices.
- 5+ years proficiency in cloud-based architecture and automated release pipelines.
- 5-8+ years of API-first approach expertise with loosely coupled systems and domain-driven design.
- At least 5 years as a full stack developer, with a stronger focus on the front-end.
- Experience in managing and planning technical debt.
- Strong focus on quality code and various testing approaches.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Golang is nice to have, but Java is essential.
- JavaScript is nice to have, or alternatively, must have Golang.
- Expertise in Microservices and API (10/10 rating).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $155000.00 - $165000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. I will have the benefits after the meeting on the 10th.
