Lead with Purpose

Join a mission-driven organization dedicated to ending veteran homelessness. As a Program Director, you will lead site operations, oversee housing programs and supportive services, and drive outcomes that help veterans and their families achieve long-term housing stability and independence.

This role is ideal for a leader experienced in program management, staff supervision, and community partnerships within homeless services, supportive housing, or behavioral health.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee daily program operations for housing and supportive services programs

- Supervise Program Managers, behavioral health leaders, and multidisciplinary teams

- Ensure delivery of case management, mental health services, life skills programming, and housing support

- Build and maintain partnerships with VA, Continuum of Care (CoC), landlords, funders, and community providers

- Create and sustain a trauma-informed, therapeutic environment for clients

- Monitor program performance, outcomes, and service delivery metrics

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and VA regulations, including HMIS data integrity

- Oversee facility operations, housing quality, and property management coordination

- Manage budgets, expenses, and program financial performance

- Lead staff hiring, supervision, training, and performance management

- Conduct internal audits, documentation reviews, and quality assurance activities

- Facilitate team meetings, stakeholder engagement, and community presentations

- Oversee inventory, site resources, and emergency preparedness

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field

- 4+ years of experience in program management, housing programs, or social services leadership

- Proven experience in staff supervision, program development, and budget management

- Strong knowledge of homeless services, supportive housing, and veteran services

- Experience with HMIS, data reporting, and compliance standards

- Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary team environments

- Excellent communication, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and program data systems

Preferred Qualifications

- Masters degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or Nonprofit Management

- Experience with VA programs, or Continuum of Care (CoC) systems

- Background in behavioral health or integrated service delivery models
