About the Role
A role on a hospitality focused AI platform team responsible for building and maintaining end to end AI systems. You will own substantial parts of the stack and work with a flat team to ship impactful features that improve guest interactions and operations.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement the response generation and orchestration pipeline for AI agents.
- Develop and ground knowledge retrieval to ensure accurate and current data in conversations.
- Build tool orchestration layers for multi step workflows and handle third party API failures gracefully.
- Create evaluation frameworks and observability controls to monitor quality and reliability.
- Collaborate on interfaces that allow non technical stakeholders to adjust agent behavior.
- Extend systems to voice conversations including real time transcription and tool use.
- Optimize for speed and cost through routing, caching, and prompt refinement.
- Own infrastructure, data pipelines, integrations, and API work that underpin the platform.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience and a track record of shipping production systems
- Experience across full stack and comfort solving problems across backend, frontend, data pipelines or infrastructure
- Strong background in retrieval pipelines, knowledge grounding, or multi step workflows
- Familiarity with AI model selection, routing, prompt optimization, and cost or latency considerations
- Experience building observability, tracing, and debugging for complex pipelines
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, Rust, or Java
- Hands on experience integrating with third party APIs and handling production failure modes
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence product decisions
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: 130000-220000 USD annually
