About this role

Key Result Areas:

- Execute daily operational plans under the guidance of the supervisor, ensuring facilities are opened, prepared, and operated in line with QF standards and schedules.
- Monitor venue conditions, enforce rules, conduct inspections, and promptly report hazards, maintenance needs, or incidents to ensure safe and secure environments.
- Coordinate activity schedules, venue setups, and logistics for sports programs, leagues, events, and rentals to guarantee smooth execution.
- Act as the frontline QF representative, delivering excellent customer service through direct engagement with community members, staff, and partners.
- Provide accurate and timely information to visitors, handle complaints effectively within scope, and escalate issues where required.
- Support community outreach initiatives, membership campaigns, and sports events to promote active participation and positive user experiences.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with QF HSE standards, public health regulations, and emergency procedures.
- Participate in safety drills, oversee adherence to safety protocols, and ensure accurate completion of incident and accident reports.
- Review and endorse daily CAFM requests and permit-to-work forms to maintain operational and maintenance quality.
- Coordinate and monitor duty schedules and performance of Facility Assistants and Lifeguards, ensuring accountability and adherence to QF service standards.
- Support the supervision of outsourced operational teams, providing feedback to supervisors on performance and compliance.
- Ensure all financial transactions and program registrations are processed exclusively through the EC App, in compliance with QF’s no-cash policy.
- Regularly monitor and verify transactions, ensuring proper documentation, transparency, and audit-ready trails.
- Track memberships, rentals, and revenue-related activities, contributing to annual revenue targets and accurate reporting.
- Maintain comprehensive operational records including logs, booking sheets, incident reports, checklists, and attendance data.
- Facilitate effective communication by acting as a liaison between venue operations and central teams, ensuring timely two-way updates that support planning and decision-making.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and operational updates to highlight progress, achievements, and key operational matters.
- Drive continuous improvement by contributing feedback and practical recommendations to enhance services, optimize processes, and improve the overall customer experience.
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sports Management, Recreation Management, Physical Education, Facility Operations, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of full-time work experience in facility operations, sports/recreation management, or community activation, preferably in large organizations or multi-venue environments.
- Proven ability to coordinate daily facility operations, including scheduling, event support, and service delivery, with strong knowledge of HSE standards, emergency procedures, and incident reporting.
- Experience in scheduling, supervising, and monitoring Facility Assistants, Lifeguards, and outsourced contractors to ensure service and safety standards.
- Familiarity with CAFM systems, operational record-keeping, and basic financial processes related to memberships, rentals, and expenditure tracking.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences, resolve issues promptly, and represent the organization professionally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, report writing, and presentation skills; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
