About this role
The intern will assist experienced technicians, the Workshop Supervisor, Repair Manager, and Project Managers in daily repair activities, technical documentation flow, reporting, and final documentation compilation. The position does not independently approve work, release documentation, or perform unsupervised critical activities.
Education
- Student in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, diploma, or vocational/technical education with relevant content in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, maintenance, repair, quality, documentation, or a related discipline.
- Relevant practical experience, technical training, or strong demonstrated aptitude may be considered as an alternative to the preferred educational background.
Experience
- No previous document control or mechanical repair experience is required; this role is intended for learning and development.
- Any exposure to workshops, mechanical repair, manufacturing, maintenance, quality control, engineering documentation, MS Office, or project administration is beneficial.
Skills and Competencies
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn document control systems, registers, and reporting tools.
- Good written and oral English; ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, technicians, Project Managers, clients, suppliers, and third parties when required.
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn drawings, procedures, measuring tools, repair methods, and documentation standards.
- Organized, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accurate records while supporting practical workshop tasks.
