Impact
As a QA Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring that E-Signature solutions delivered to Pharma and Life Sciences customers are high-quality, reliable, secure, and compliant with applicable regulatory requirements.
You will own and drive QA activities across customer projects, working closely with Consulting, Development, Product, SaaS, SQA, and customer teams. Your expertise will help ensure that solutions are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment, while proactively identifying risks and preventing production issues.
You will also contribute to improving QA processes, test automation, reusable test assets, and quality practices across the E-Signature consulting organization.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Own and lead QA activities for E-Signature Pharma and Life Sciences customer projects.
- Define and execute test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution based on customer requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, exploratory, and end-to-end testing of E-Signature solutions.
- Validate electronic signature workflows, approvals, audit trails, authentication, user access, and business rules.
- Ensure end-to-end traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and test evidence.
- Support validation activities for regulated applications, including 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, GxP, CSV/CSA, and customer-specific quality processes.
- Review requirements and solution designs from a quality and testability perspective and identify gaps early.
- Perform impact analysis for defects, enhancements, and product changes.
- Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis, retesting, regression testing, and defect closure.
- Ensure defects are fully tested and assessed before promotion to QA, UAT, or Production.
- Validate E-Signature integrations including SSO, APIs, web services, and external enterprise applications.
- Support testing for SaaS releases, upgrades, patches, migrations, and customer-specific implementations.
- Design and maintain reusable test suites, regression packs, validation assets, and QA checklists.
- Leverage AI-assisted testing and QA tools to improve test design, defect analysis, documentation, and regression coverage.
- Support production issues and perform root-cause and preventive-action analysis to reduce recurring defects.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- 8+ Years of experience in QA/testing of enterprise applications, preferably in Pharma, Life Sciences, or other regulated industries.
- Strong experience in E-Signature application testing, including signature workflows, approvals, audit trails, authentication, and authorization.
- Strong understanding of 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, GxP, data integrity, and computerized system validation/assurance.
- Experience in developing test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and traceability matrices.
- Strong experience in functional, integration, regression, system, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
- Experience with defect management, root-cause analysis, impact analysis, and risk-based testing.
- Experience with SaaS application testing, web applications, APIs, integrations, and SSO.
- Experience testing applications across different environments such as DEV, QA, UAT, and Production.
- Experience with test-management tools such as OpenText AQM, ALM, Value Edge, Octane, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Experience in test automation using appropriate frameworks and tools is an advantage.
- Ability to review requirements and identify ambiguities, gaps, risks, and negative test scenarios.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, change control, and release management.
- Experience supporting product upgrades, patches, migrations, and regression testing.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate complex customer issues.
- Ability to work effectively with Development, Consulting, Product, SaaS, SQA, and customer teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical QA issues to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take end-to-end ownership of QA deliverables.
- Strong focus on quality, compliance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
- Experience using AI tools for test-case generation, test analysis, defect analysis, documentation, and QA productivity would be an added advantage.
