QA Playwright

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in UI automation, API testing, test framework development, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies. The candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright .
- Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop reusable test components and automation libraries.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing capabilities.
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Ensure test coverage for new features and enhancements.
- Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics for stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Playwright Automation Testing .
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript .
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience in UI, Functional, Regression, and End-to-End Testing.
- Hands-on experience with API Testing.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
