LocalStack is a local cloud development platform. LocalStack makes it easier, faster, and less expensive for software teams to ship reliable, high-quality applications to the cloud.
The cloud was built to run software, not to support AI-native development workflows. As the world's leading local cloud development platform, LocalStack provides secure local sandboxes that simulate cloud environments, enabling AI agents and software developers to find and fix risks faster and more effectively than they can in the cloud.
Our customer base ranges from SMBs to Global Fortune 500 companies. Our clients include companies like NASA, Harness, IBM, Workday, Comcast, Apple, 3M, Block and many more.
We are sustainably growing our globally distributed teams across GTM, operations and engineering. In 2025 we almost doubled in size and continue to grow across all areas in 2026.

✅ What you will be working on/responsible for
- Be LocalStack's visible face in the developer community. Maintain a consistent, high-cadence speaking presence at the meetups, conferences, and community events that matter in San Francisco and broader global developer community, reaching a steady rhythm by the end of Q1.
- Build a regular slate of LocalStack events in the region. Plan, host, and run LocalStack gatherings (meetups, workshops, hackathons, developer dinners).
- Build ecosystem partnerships through co-created content. Become a known peer to the region's community leaders and dev-tool companies, and co-create content, events, and webinars.
- Ship technical content developers use. Publish technical content on a regular cadence (blog posts, tutorials, videos, sample projects), contribute to the docs, and build partner demos or reference integrations that show real developer value and contribute to a broader DevrRel team.
✅ Experience we expect you to bring to the role
- 5+ years of experience as a Developer Advocacy, Developer Relations, Technical Evangelism, or a comparable outward-facing technical role.
- Strong hands on experience in cloud and cloud native development (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, GCP etc)
- Experience building meaningful external partnerships through channels such as joint events, co-published content, and webinars.
- Experience being a link to a product, engineering and GTM org, delivering valuable market insights and turning them into new product/product features
- Familiarity with agentic SDLC workflows and the role of local sandboxes for AI agents
