About us:

We are Optiveum, a tech recruitment and IT contracting company. We are currently looking for a Senior Test Data Specialist for our client, a prominent international organization operating in the Nordic financial services market. By joining this project, you will sign a B2B contract directly with Optiveum.

About the project:

The project focuses on the "Home journey" – the complete process a customer goes through when buying a home in the Nordics. You will be part of a diverse, highly international, and agile environment determined to meet the unique needs of the customers.

We need Test Data Specialists/Engineers to execute the test data strategy, build automated solutions, support teams daily, and ensure test data is available on demand. You will work closely with testers, developers, DevOps engineers, and business analysts to eliminate one of the largest bottlenecks in testing: obtaining and maintaining trustworthy test data.

Your responsibilities:

- Test data engineering: creating and maintaining reusable test data assets, developing automated test data provisioning solutions, and building self-service data delivery mechanisms.
- Data masking and compliance: implementing masking and anonymization routines, ensuring compliance with GDPR, and validating masked data quality.
- Test data creation: creating synthetic test datasets, generating test data for edge-cases and negative tests, and maintaining business-realistic data combinations.
- Provisioning test data: refreshing and cloning test datasets for non-production environments to support parallel testing.
- Automation integration: integrating test data generation into automation frameworks, enabling CI/CD driven test data provisioning, and supporting automated regression execution.
- Monitoring and maintenance: monitoring data availability and quality, resolving data-related defects, and documenting processes and data dependencies.

Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience in Test Data Management (TDM) or Test Automation.
- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
- Knowledge of mainframe systems and setups.
- Hands-on implementation of TDM solutions (data extraction, transformation, generation, masking, cloning, and subsetting).
- Experience supporting automated, integration, and E2E testing within Agile teams.
- Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Java, or similar).
- Understanding of CI/CD processes (Git, Jenkins) and DevOps practices.
- Advanced English proficiency.

Nice to have:

- Experience with Tricentis Tosca TDM, Curiosity Software, Delphix, or Informatica TDM.
- Financial services domain knowledge.
- Experience with synthetic data generation tools and API testing.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
- AI-assisted test data creation experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale E2E customer journey testing.
