What this role is about
In this role, you will support operational processes related to PAYBACK operations and data management. You will work with Unix, Shell, and Python scripts, analyze technical challenges, and ensure the reliable handling of customer and partner requests as well as the accurate posting of PAYBACK points.
Your day-to-day work
- Reconcile data sets using Unix and Shell scripts and ensure data quality.
- Develop, maintain, and utilize Python and Shell scripts, as well as database queries on Oracle and Siebel systems and Google Cloud BigQuery.
- Analyze and resolve incidents reported by the Customer Service Center and partners, and document the results.
- Execute operational PAYBACK processes, such as retroactive point credits, point postings, and card replacements, based on defined status models.
This role is a good fit for you if…
- You are currently pursuing a technical degree, for example in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- You have a strong interest in technical topics and enjoy analytical problem-solving.
- You have gained initial experience with Linux, Bash, or Python, as well as SQL databases.
- You are reliable, communicative, and able to work independently, and you are available to work on-site in our Munich office.

Compensation
- Mandatory internship: €1,000 / month
- Voluntary internship: €2,224 / month
- Working student (Bachelor): €17 / hour
- Working student (Master): €20 / hour
