What this role is about
In Business Partner Development, you support the acquisition of new partners for the PAYBACK program and contribute to developing strategic partnerships with well-known retail brands. You will learn how companies leverage PAYBACK’s data-driven power to strengthen customer relationships in the long term and drive growth.
As part of a small and dynamic team, you will take on responsibility early on, gain valuable insights into real-world acquisition projects, and work closely with experienced colleagues. This position offers a steep learning curve and provides an ideal stepping stone for a career in Business Development, Sales, or Partner Management.
Your day-to-day work
- You support the team in identifying and acquiring new PAYBACK partners.
- You research and analyze market, competitor, and industry trends in retail and e-commerce.
- You prepare client presentations, proposals, and business cases for potential partners and participate in relevant meetings.
- You evaluate partnership inquiries and support strategic projects and meetings.

- You are studying business administration, economics, or a comparable degree program.
- You have an analytical mindset, work in a structured manner, and enjoy working with numbers.
- You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- You have strong communication skills, enjoy working in a team, and ideally have already gained some initial practical experience.

Compensation
- Mandatory internship: €1,000 / month
- Voluntary internship: €2,224 / month
- Working student (Bachelor): €17 / hour
- Working student (Master): €20 / hour
