Develop practical training for Navy ORTAs, scientists and engineers, leadership, industry and academic partners.

Axyde is assembling a team for DoW/DoN Technology Transfer Program Management Support (N0001426RFI7005). Employment or consulting engagement is contingent on contract award, funding and final terms. The government plans award around April 30, 2027 or sooner. This is not an immediate funded opening.

Responsibilities

- Create standard T2 training briefs, facilitator materials and best-practice toolkits.

- Lead workshops covering Invention Evaluation Boards, IP portfolio management, Innovation Discovery Events, IP marketing/licensing and reverse pitches.

- Coordinate ORTA/legal workshops; collect feedback and improve content and delivery.

- Prepare monthly stakeholder newsletters, annual-report articles and T2 award-writing support.

Required background

- BS or BA from an accredited university.

- At least five years of directly relevant defense/Navy T2 experience, including recent work within the last five years, with subject-matter professional-development training and technical-writing expertise.

- Ability to explain technology-transfer procedures to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Preferred experience

Direct ORTA and federal-laboratory training experience; examples of workshops, toolkits, training assessment and licensing-related education.

Work arrangement

The draft PWS budgets one FTE and 1,920 annual hours. Arlington on-site support is required, with telework subject to government direction. Compensation and final schedule will be established before an offer. No DD 254 is required by the RFI; applicable government access and information-handling requirements still apply.
