Lead policy modernization for a proposed Navy technology-transfer support team.
Axyde is assembling a team for DoW/DoN Technology Transfer Program Management Support (N0001426RFI7005). Employment or consulting engagement is contingent on contract award, funding and final terms. The government plans award around April 30, 2027 or sooner. This is not an immediate funded opening.
Responsibilities
- Develop coordinated revisions to the governing SECNAV instruction, T2 Handbook and Manual.
- Update agreement templates and prepare interim policy-guidance recommendations.
- Trace requirements to authorities, reconcile stakeholder comments and maintain controlled versions.
- Support policy milestones and the 95% draft-accuracy and one-revision standards in the draft QASP.
Required background
- BS or BA from an accredited university.
- At least five years of directly relevant defense or Navy technology-transfer program and policy experience, including recent work within the last five years.
- Demonstrated government policy drafting or review and ability to translate policy into practical procedures and templates.
Preferred experience
DON/DoD ORTA and federal research-laboratory T2 experience; strong technical writing and stakeholder coordination.
Work arrangement
The draft PWS budgets one FTE and 1,920 annual hours. Arlington on-site support is required, with telework subject to government direction. Compensation and final schedule will be established before an offer. No DD 254 is required by the RFI; applicable government access and information-handling requirements still apply.
