Job Description The Regulatory Assistant supports the development and approval of new and generic pharmaceutical products by ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This role focuses on regulatory documentation, labeling review, and preparation of electronic submissions for regulatory agencies, including the FDA. Responsibilities

- Ensure new and generic pharmaceutical products comply with applicable state and federal regulations.
- Provide guidance on the preparation and submission of documents required under federal regulations.
- Review product labels and raw material information to confirm regulatory accuracy and completeness.
- Research and analyze regulations specific to the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Prepare electronic regulatory documents for internal review and submission to the FDA.
- Maintain accurate and organized regulatory documentation to support audits and inspections.
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs and administrative team members to align documentation with current regulatory standards.
- Apply strong attention to detail to identify and resolve discrepancies in labels, materials, and regulatory records.

Essential Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Science.
- Experience with documentation and regulatory affairs in a regulated industry preferred.
- Familiarity with FDA requirements and regulatory labeling.
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing labels, raw material information, and regulatory documents.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and related applications.
- Ability to research and interpret regulations specific to the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Capability to prepare clear, accurate electronic regulatory documents for submission.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience with regulatory labeling in industries governed by FDA requirements, such as cosmetic or food, is a strong plus.
- Prior work in regulatory affairs within a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple regulatory documents and submissions.
- Ability to work independently at times while remaining collaborative with a small team.

Work Environment The role is based in a dedicated building adjacent to the main facility that houses administration and regulatory affairs functions. The team is relatively small, offering a focused and collaborative environment where you will also work independently at times. The position operates on a first shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work is primarily office-based, using standard office technology and Microsoft Office tools to manage regulatory documentation and electronic submissions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
