Position: Senior Oracle Utilities Solution & Technical Architect

The Senior Oracle Utilities Architect will serve as the senior technical and functional authority for offshore operations supporting utility Meter-to-Cash (M2C) and Meter Data Management (MDM) applications. This candidate will lead a team of offshore developers, designers, and testers, acting as the primary liaison to US onshore leads and client delivery managers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Architecture & Solution Design Governance: Provide end-to-end technical and functional architecture leadership
across Oracle CCS, C2M, CC&B, MDM, and SGG. Review and approve Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and
Technical Design Documents (TDDs) for major enhancements, integrations, and batch adjustments.

- Batch Architecture & Stream Optimization: Design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex nightly batch schedules,
multi-thread processing streams, and high-volume data loads. Establish batch monitoring frameworks to ensure high
'Batch Schedule Completed On Time' rates and minimal billing cycle delays.
- 24/7 Production Support & SLA Oversight: Drive Level 2 and Level 3 production triage for Priority 1 (P1) and Priority 2
(P2) incidents. Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) for batch failures, long-running threads, data corruption, and
integration bottlenecks.
- OUAF & Extension Architecture: Guide technical teams on Java/Groovy component refactoring, Business Objects
(BOs), Business Services (BSs), UI Maps, Zones, Algorithms, and Inbound/Outbound Web Services (IWS/XAI) within the
Oracle Utilities Application Framework.
- MDM & SGG Integration Architecture: Oversee usage calculations, VEE (Validation, Editing, and Estimation) rules,
Interval Data (IMD) processing, smart meter event processing, and device lifecycle flows across SGG and MDM
subsystems.
- Upgrade & Environment Strategy: Lead technical impact assessments for Oracle cloud releases, service pack
upgrades, OS/database patches, and environment refresh/backflow activities. Ensure zero-regression deployments
through rigorous automated test governance.

Qualifications & Skills:

- 8–20+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Utilities implementations, upgrades, and managed services (CC&B v2.x,
C2M v2.6+, CCS, MDM, SGG).
- Deep expertise in Batch Processing architecture: configuring thread allocation, batch job controls, batch monitoring
queries, stream restarts, and error handling (e.g., usage transaction exclusions, POSTROUT log analysis).
- Demonstrated mastery of OUAF (Oracle Utilities Application Framework), Java, Groovy, SQL/PL-SQL, HQL, COBOL-toJava migrations, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment architecture.
- Proven track record acting as a Technical/Functional Lead for utility clients, managing offshore teams of 5–15+
developers and engineers.
- Certified Oracle Utilities Implementation Professional (CCS, C2M, or CC&B) strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with SOC 2 Type II compliance, NERC-CIP requirements, and ITIL incident/change management
frameworks.

As this is a work-from-home position, please ensure the following:

- Must be a Filipino citizen residing in the Philippines.

- An updated personal computer or laptop with a webcam and at least 20GB of free storage.
- A stable internet connection of at least 5Mbps, with a backup option (pocket WiFi or mobile data)
