Live-In Home Health Aide (HHA)
Suffolk County, NY | Full-Time & Flexible Live-In Opportunities
Pay: $255.45 per day
Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced and compassionate Live-In Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one-on-one care to clients throughout Suffolk County , including Huntington, Dix Hills, Melville, and surrounding communities .
We offer a variety of live-in schedules, including:
- 3-day live-in assignments
- 4-day live-in assignments
- 5-day live-in assignments
- Weekend live-in assignments
Whether you are looking for a few days each week or a more consistent schedule, we have opportunities to match your availability.

Have a friend or fellow HHA who is also looking for work? Refer them to Affirmed Home Care and, when available, you may have the opportunity to coordinate or share a live-in assignment together.
Responsibilities
As a Live-In HHA, you will provide compassionate, reliable care while assisting clients with their daily needs. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living
- Providing medication reminders
- Preparing meals
- Performing light housekeeping
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for the client

Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Home Health Aide experience
- Valid New York State HHA Certificate
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Physical examination completed within the past year
- Current PPD or QuantiFERON within the past year, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
- MMR immunization documentation within the past 10 years
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
