Senior Bookkeeper needed for a bookkeeping service company located in Tustin, CA.
Temporary to Hire position paying $33-40/hr , depending on experience. Hours are flexible, starting between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM, Monday - Friday , with 8-hour days. Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision.
This company provides bookkeeping services for companies throughout the United States. Individuals will be assigned clients to manage their entire bookkeeping.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. Code and match transactions within the QuickBooks Online bank feed. Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Maintain accurate and organized financial records. Manage and support the full bookkeeping/accounting cycle. Prepare and provide Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets. Review and understand financial statements for accuracy. Properly utilize and maintain the Chart of Accounts. Assist clients with bookkeeping-related questions and financial information. Work across various areas of clients’ books rather than focusing solely on month-end close.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience. Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required. Understanding of the full bookkeeping/accounting cycle. Strong understanding of Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss Statements. Comfortable navigating and properly utilizing a Chart of Accounts. Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Bank and credit card reconciliation experience. Experience coding and matching transactions in the QBO bank feed. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Professional communication and presentation. MS Office proficiency. Accounting/bookkeeping degree or related education is a plus, but not required. Seeking a long-term opportunity and able to demonstrate employment stability.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $33.00 - $40.00 Per Hour
