##### As Part of Our Team, You Will

- Conduct market research and analysis to support commercial strategies and business objectives.
- Monitor commodity markets, supply and demand trends, competitor activity, and geopolitical developments.
- Gather and analyze market data using established research methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Develop insights and forecasts that support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Assess commercial risks, including market volatility and regulatory impacts, and contribute to mitigation strategies.
- Perform competitor benchmarking to identify strengths, risks, and opportunities.
- Create executive-level reports, presentations, and dashboards that translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
- Support scenario analysis and forecasting activities using economic and market indicators.
- Maintain market intelligence reporting systems and ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility.

##### Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in market research, business intelligence, strategy, commercial analysis, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify meaningful trends.
- Knowledge of commodity markets, supply chains, commercial operations, and market risk analysis.
- Experience using analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SAP, and SAP Ariba.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Ability to translate market intelligence into practical recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience within mining, resources, commodities, or a similarly complex global industry is preferred.

You will work within a collaborative commercial team focused on delivering strategic market intelligence and business insights. The role partners with stakeholders across Commercial, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing, and leadership teams, providing exposure to global market trends, commodity dynamics, and business strategy. This is a highly analytical environment where curiosity, critical thinking, and data-driven decision-making are valued and encouraged.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $106,200 - 141,600. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.  The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
