Job Description: Video Producer (Shooter + Editor)

KPF is seeking a Video Producer to join the in-house marketing team that creates the videos that play across KPF's website and social media, including YouTube channel, events, exhibitions, awards ceremonies, sales centers and more. Our videos cover architectural subjects as well as broader conversations about cities today. If you know how to make video soup-to-nuts, and are passionate about cities, buildings, and design, we want to hear from you.

The Video Producer, alongside a Video Coordinator, reports to the Director of Video and collaborates with the larger marketing team, including the Director of Content. You will work across video projects, primarily shooting and editing but also coordinating shoots. Depending on the project, you may see it through from booking to shooting to post, or work collaboratively, handling one part before passing it to a teammate.

Shooting assignments include interviews in the office (on a Canon C300, Canon R5, or Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro) and walkthroughs of architects on project sites (with an RS4) as well as more polished footage of finished architectural projects. The ability to correct footage for color and parallaxing is preferred.

Editing assignments, in Adobe Premiere, vary by the day: cutting atmospheric project footage to music, cutting interviews and discussions. It helps to have an eye for various platforms – longer form on YouTube, vertical video on Instagram, shorts, etc. On the production side, you will coordinate people and spaces (inside and outside the office, locally and globally) for interview shoots, book equipment, correspond with outside contractors, and process purchase orders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in video production, content creation, filmmaking, or a related creative field.
- Ability to take direction effectively while also working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator who can advocate for creative ideas and contribute constructively to team discussions.
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate feedback and continuously improve work to achieve high-quality results.
- Collaborative team player with a growth mindset and a desire to contribute to a team with ambitious creative goals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, impactful video content.
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for domestic video shoots; travel experience is a plus.

Pay Range:

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annual
