About this role
KPF , a leading global architecture firm, seeks a Benefits Analyst to support the administration of the firm’s employee benefits programs. This is an entry-level to junior-level role designed for someone early in their HR or benefits career who is eager to learn and grow within a global HR team.
The Benefits Analyst will provide day-to-day operational, data, and administrative support to the Global Director of Benefits and serve as a point of contact for employee benefit inquiries. This is an employee-facing role that supports clear communication, accurate benefits administration, and compliance across the firm’s benefit offerings.
Essential Job Functions
Benefits Administration & Support
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, COBRA, retirement plans, and leave programs.
- Support annual open enrollment and new hire benefits enrollment processes.
- Prepare and distribute benefits materials and communications.
- Respond to routine employee benefit inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
Data, Reporting & Compliance
- Assist with benefits data tracking, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Support billing review and audits in collaboration with Payroll/Accounting.
- Maintain accurate benefits records in HRIS and vendor systems.
- Assist with compliance reporting and required filings.
Vendor & Cross-Functional Support
- Coordinate communication with benefits vendors and external partners.
- Support system testing, audits, and process improvements.
Employee Education & Programs
- Assist with benefits education materials and presentations.
- Support benefits portions of new-hire orientation and onboarding.
- Conduct benefits onboarding for all new hires, including review of plan options, enrollment timelines, and employee questions.
- Provide administrative and employee support during the annual Open Enrollment process.
- Track employee feedback and FAQs to improve benefit communications.
General HR & Project Support
- Assist with HR projects related to benefits administration.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in HR, benefits administration, or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Preferred
- Exposure to employee benefits administration or HR operations.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred).
- Payroll systems exposure (ADP preferred).
- Interest in pursuing benefits certifications such as CEBS or GBA.
- Experience in architecture, design, or professional services firms a plus.

Work Environment: This position requires you to be in person 5 days per week.
Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Pay Range:
$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 Annual
