We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves traveling to various job sites across all five boroughs to conduct inspections and ensure quality control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or structural engineering and be a licensed Professional Engineer. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and play a critical role in maintaining project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Travel to job sites across all five boroughs based on client needs.
- Conduct field inspections and complete reports remotely.
- Prepare detailed field reports, inspection logs, and photographic documentation, and submit findings to clients and internal teams.
- Perform TPP inspections with company-provided training and support.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and project managers to resolve field issues and maintain project timelines.
- Monitor construction activities for quality control, including concrete testing, structural inspections, and materials verification.
- Assist in reviewing permits, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with field conditions.
- Identify and troubleshoot on-site issues, recommending corrective actions and coordinating with stakeholders for resolution.
Essential Skills
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)

- 5+ years of experience in the field
- Proficiency in engineering principles and practices
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- ACI certification (preferred)
- NICET certification (preferred)
Work Environment
The position requires a flexible work schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with field reporting flexibility. This is a non-office-based role, with travel required throughout the NYC area. The position is salaried with a 40-hour workweek cap. New employees receive 4 weeks of PTO, which can increase to 6 weeks with tenure. Our company is a large national organization offering opportunities for growth.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $93.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
