The Technology Product Owner Principal or Sub-Product Owner in Roche PT's Quality Processes Products team plays a pivotal role in standardizing and optimizing the systems and technology that power Quality operations and data insights. The PO is responsible for defining and implementing the overall Technology strategy for PT Quality, acting as the Global Product Owner for applicable PT technologies.

The Oppurtunity:

- Oversee large-scale, cross-functional systems that require understanding dependencies, integrations and long-term planning.
- Leads multiple products or complex technologies through the system lifecycle management process including change management
- Influencing and directing the future innovation through opportunities with interdepartmental and industry collaborations
- Translating complex business use cases and requirements into standardized, compliant technology solutions, requiring a blend of technical expertise and business acumen.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration and ensure the team fosters strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Focuses on multi-stakeholder alignment across teams.
- Proactively identify opportunities to leverage technology innovations to improve business efficiency and outcomes.  Drive the integration of technology-driven solutions to stay ahead in a competitive and rapidly changing industry landscape.
- Initiate, manage and close complex deviations, CAPAs or changes and support audits/ regulatory inspections as required.   Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for IT System and product performance, efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Serve as a global Principal Product Owner for QMS technologies (specifically Quality Vault QMS but can include Veeva Quality Docs ), effectively translating complex business requirements into standardized technical solutions. Manage the integration and structural nuances of the Veeva QMS and or Quality Docs ecosystem, ensuring seamless data flow, reporting, and interface connectivity across global manufacturing and commercial sites.
- Direct the entire system lifecycle—including upgrades, system replacements, and retirements—while strictly adhering to established change management processes.
- Partner closely with key Business Stakeholders and IT to define the product vision, align roadmaps, manage feature backlogs, and prioritize system enhancements.
- Act as the dedicated Business Data Steward, ensuring unwavering GxP compliance, strict data governance, and adherence to global quality policies.
- Mobilize and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams spanning global functions, sites, IT partners, and validation functions.

Who You are:

- You possess deep technical expertise: You bring 12+ years of experience in Veeva Quality Vault or equivalent Quality platform management—ideally  Veeva QMS and Veeva Quality Docs.
- You are strategically and academically qualified: You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field (or an equivalent qualification like a Federal Diploma of Higher Education) combined with a proven track record in formulating long-term computer system strategies.
- You are an expert in regulated environments: You possess a strong understanding of data integrity, data analytics, and software validation within validated or controlled pharmaceutical/healthcare environments (GMP, FDA, GxP).
- You are an Agile collaborator and communicator: You are highly skilled at utilizing Agile methodologies and possess exceptional communication skills to convey technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are an Agile collaborator, skilled at utilizing Agile methodologies to manage product backlogs and successfully adapting iterative delivery to meet strict computer system validation (CSV) and GxP release requirements.
- You are a proactive problem solver: You possess a technical foundation paired with sharp business acumen, allowing you to troubleshoot intricate system issues, navigate escalation paths and adapt setups to meet diverse site-specific needs. ​

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 136,936.00 and 179,728.50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
