Travel: Southeast project sites as assigned

Since 1996, RQC, LLC has been a leading Design-Build contractor serving commercial and governmental clients nationwide. With a primary focus on the Department of Defense market, we specialize in fast-track construction projects for public and private clients.

RQC is currently accepting applications from experienced Mechanical General Foremen to support anticipated future staffing needs. Selected candidates may be considered for upcoming DoD projects throughout the Southeast as new openings become available.

Pay & Benefits

Pay: $85,000 - $115,000 DOE

Responsibilities

The Mechanical General Foreman will oversee the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of mechanical trade crews, which may include Pipefitters, Plumbers, Sheet Metal Installers, and Helpers/Trainees.

Responsibilities include:

- Supervise and coordinate mechanical crews and daily field activities.

- Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, codes, and safety requirements.

- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and scheduling with the Piping Superintendent and Project Manager.

- Provide technical guidance and field leadership across mechanical trades.

- Support quality, productivity, and safety goals on the project.

- Travel to project sites throughout the Southeast as assigned.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED required; mechanical trade school or construction management coursework preferred.

- 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Foreman/General Foreman.

- Experience with commercial/industrial mechanical projects of $400K+.

- 5+ years of mechanical trade experience, including piping, plumbing, HVAC, or ductwork.

- Experience with soldering, brazing, welding, and mechanical system installation.

- BIM software proficiency required.

- Microsoft Office proficiency required.

- OSHA-30 and CPR/First Aid certifications required.

- EM 385 training preferred (training can be provided).

- Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast.
