We’re looking for an Assistant Underwriter to join our supportive Workers Compensation team. You’ll help customers and brokers, process policy updates and renewals, respond to enquiries and provide administration support.
You don’t need previous insurance experience. We’ll provide training and support to help you build your knowledge and grow your career with us.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity available across multiple locations in Australia.
What You'll Do
• Process policy updates, new business and renewals.
• Assist customers and brokers with their enquiries.
• Manage credit queries and follow up outstanding premiums.
• Prepare reports and provide administration support.
• Work closely with your team to deliver positive outcomes for customers.
About You
• Bring customer service experience and a genuine interest in helping people.
• Communicate clearly and build positive relationships.
• Stay organised and take care with the details.
• Be motivated, reliable and open to learning.
• Feel confident learning new systems and ways of working.
• Work well independently and within a supportive team.
• You identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
This role is a designated role and only available to a person that identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
